While you can kind of understand Kawaki trying to escape, that understanding is kind of lost when his objective is to get as far away from IV as possible. Don't be so obsessed with being alone to get away, these guys said they only need to lock him up do to threat he [understandably] shows to others. He also called Sumeri and Nue monsters. He should understand that this could be his home save from IV. He'll learn in time hopefully. Doesn't Naruto have ability to talk-no-jutsu straight to persons heart [brain] now since 4th great ninja war? He just has to do that!
